Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup AGE rice
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/4 cup dried fruits (raisins, chopped dates)
  • 2 tbsp chopped nuts (cashews, almonds)

Instructions:

  • Soak Rice: Rinse and soak AGE rice for 30 minutes, then drain.
  • Cook Rice in Milk: In a large saucepan, boil the milk. Add the soaked rice and cook over low heat, stirring often until the rice is soft and the mixture thickens (about 20-25 minutes).
  • Add Sweetness: Stir in sugar, cardamom powder, and dried fruits. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Garnish: Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Garnish with chopped nuts before serving.
  • Serve: Enjoy warm or chilled, perfect for festive occasions or as a comforting dessert.
