Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup AGE rice
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
- 1/4 cup dried fruits (raisins, chopped dates)
- 2 tbsp chopped nuts (cashews, almonds)
Instructions:
- Soak Rice: Rinse and soak AGE rice for 30 minutes, then drain.
- Cook Rice in Milk: In a large saucepan, boil the milk. Add the soaked rice and cook over low heat, stirring often until the rice is soft and the mixture thickens (about 20-25 minutes).
- Add Sweetness: Stir in sugar, cardamom powder, and dried fruits. Cook for another 5 minutes.
- Garnish: Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Garnish with chopped nuts before serving.
